A meeting was held at Khijri Panchayat in Namkom under Hamari Yojana-Hamara Vikas programme under the leadership of Rajya Sabha MP Mahesh Poddar. During the meeting the Rajya Sabha MP suggested to include Sanitation, Ajivika, water management and facility of electricity also in the selection of programmes. Poddar said that efforts of proper execution of the schemes and programmes being run by the centre and the state must be made after taking proper information about them.
Thanking Chief Minister Raghubar Das for promoting decentralisation of programmes, Poddar said that a new chapter has been started in rural development through this, which needs to be made successful. Director of Jharkhand Foundation Vishnu Rajgarhia, Jila Parishad Chairperson Aarti Kujur, BDO Gaurishankar Sharma along with several Panchayat Representatives were also present during the meeting.
