The Union Minister said that the research institute will be helpful for the farmers of Jharkhand. “This will be a milestone in eastern India in the agriculture sector. The Prime Minister has announced so many schemes for the benefits of farmers of the country. This Government has started first time a channel for the interest of the farmers,” he said.

State Agriculture Minister Randhir Singh said that they selected Gauria Karma site because most people of the area have adopted farming as the main occupation. He said that the government will complete the institute within the prescribed period.

Saryu Roy said the State Government has done commendable job for the benefits of the farmers of Jharkhand. “We are going to make strong the primary credit society in the state, so that the farmers will sell their crops at a reasonable price,” he said.
