Adding joy to the prospective visiting business giants and delegates in Global Investor Summit (GIS), Chief Minister Raghubar Das said today that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the gathering via video conferencing on opening day of the two- day summit.

He also announced ground-breaking ceremony for textiles industry in March this year.

Das also appealed local business fraternity to stay positive during first ever investor summit of the State and take it as an opportunity to grow their business manifold in collaboration with national and international companies. “The summit will see business delegates led by their business leaders from across the globe, including full delegation from Australia and China. local businessmen and industrialists must use this opportunity to grow their business by dropping investment inviting proposals on momentum Jharkhand website,” said the CM.

This meeting of CM with local traders ahead of GIS carries much importance, as opposition parties were trying hard to organise a parallel meeting with these traders during the summit to convince them that such a global event was being organised at the cost of local business.

Federation of Jharkhand Chamber of Commerce and Industries (FJCCI) President Vinay Agrawal said that the CM appealed to stay positive and look forward to increase business in collaboration with global companies, which were looking at the State as the one with high potential of business.

A port in Sahibganj will increase business and trade activities exponentially and AIIMS in Deoghar will cater to at least 8-9 districts of the State,” said the CM. He also said the State was very much on the track of becoming naxal-problem free this very year.
