Prime Minister Manmohan Singh may have announced his retirement in the back drop of all round criticism of his leadership during UPA I and II but Rahul Gandhi rates him the most powerful man in the Government.
Interacting with Sikh representatives in a closed door meeting Rahul also said that country got benefited in many ways in his presence. “You are talking about less representation of Sikhs in politics. You should see that the most powerful person in the Government is of yours. The country has been benefited immensely with the kind of honesty he has worked,” said Rahul on Friday.
