PM blessings to Dhanbad’s newlywed Gujarati couple

It was a surprise for the Rawal family when the postman came with a letter sent by Prime Minister  Narendra  Modi that contained blessings for a newlywed couple that married amidst Corona restrictions recently.

Dhruva Rawal son of Shailesh Rawal recently got married with Sonal Ambani of Ahmedabad.

Talking to the media Shailesh said that the marriage was fixed two years ago. However, due to covid restrictions we had to wait for a long time. Amidst restrictions we  had just printed eleven wedding cards  all in Gujarati .Out of that one was sent to the Prime Minister . Besides, one was  presented to Kuldevi and  one was presented at

Shakti Mandir for seeking divine blessings for the couple, told Rawal.

Rawal, who is a journalist by profession, said, we had  never expected  that we would receive a blessing letter signed by the Prime Minister. “It’s a great inspiration for us and the most precious gift  ever  one can have,’’ said Dhruva.

The letter has become talk among the Gujaratis residing here in Dhanbad for centuries and the couple has received several good wishes on the Internet and other social media platforms since the news spread. Interestingly, it’s for the second time that someone from Dhanbad  has received such blessings.

Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi in 2017 had invited an elderly lady  Sabathia Devi to tie Rakhi. The PM had invited her for the same on Raksha Bandhan day that year.
