A Public Interest Petition (PIL) was filed against former Bihar chief minister and RJD president Lalu Prasad where one petitioner Manish Kumar has accused Lalu Prasad for meeting people under violation of jail manual.
The petitioner informed that Lalu Prasad has been under judicial custody following his conviction in the fodder scam case and he was shifted to Birsa Munda Central Jail.
Later on, Lalu Prasad was shifted to RIMS for his treatment. But after the outbreak of Covid-19, he was shifted to Kelly Bungalow where his treatment is going on. Kumar said that hundreds of people visit Lalu Prasad everyday under violation of jail manual.
