The people of Jharkhand are looking us with hope and now it is our responsibility to put forward our full strength in the coming assembly elections to fulfill their aspirations.
This was stated by the JVM Supremo, Ex-Chief Minister, Babulal Marandi in the inaugural speech in party’s second conclave going on at Chadwa, Hazaribagh, to his fellow party workers.
Earlier Marandi inaugurated the second conclave of JVM by hoisting party’s flag. In his address he gave a detailed account of party’s journey from first conclave of Kunte, Ranchi, to this second conclave here at Chadwa, Hazaribagh.
We joined hands with Congress but when it became clear that Congress is trying to grab the chair putting aside all the principles, we broke the alliance. JVM is a party with clear cut principles and working pattern and during past 2-3 years we had confirmed it by our activities. At a time when even national parties fail to adhere to their ideologies, our attitude has created a hope among the people of Jharkhand, Marandi said.
Encouraging the party workers Marandi announced that in the coming assembly polls we will go alone in the battlefield and your presence here at Chadwa in such a warm weather clearly says that you too are eager to conquer the battle this time.
Our party has completed assembly segment party workers meet in 80 seats out of 81 and we have strong organizational base at panchayat levels in all 81 assembly segments.
Criticizing BJP, Congress and JMM he said that all these parties have looted the state and today after 12 years of its creation Jharkhand is in such an ill state that people have even started asking about the purpose of its inception.
Atleast 10-15 thousand party workers were present in the specially made large pandal.
The number of participants was estimated upto 30000 and arrangements were made for it. The local JVM men said that this number will increase in the evening because we have received information from different parts that workers are on their way.
In this two day long conclave political resolutions will be passed and election of new party president and executive will take place. Jharkhand party workers from adjoining States like Bihar, Bengal, Orissa, UP and Chhattisgarh were also taking part in this conclave.
In the inaugural session all the important faces of Jharkhand Vikash Morcha were seen in the pandal and on the dais except MP Dr. Ajay Kumar and MlA Samresh Singh.
