Monoj Ratan Chothe took over the charge of the 26th SP of the district on Saturday evening. He said, “It is our main aim to conduct the election in peaceful environment impartially. The district comes under Naxal-affected field.”
He also made an appeal to the public to share their problems any time and said that his priority was to provide a peaceful, and crime-free environment. For this, there must be cordial relationship between public and police.
Notably Chothe is an IPS of 2012 batch. Previously he served as the city SP in Ranchi and Railway SP in Dhanbad. The SP also called a meeting with all the thana-in-charges and discussed on several issues of geographical strata of the district as well as passed directions for the upcoming election. On the occasion SDPO Rijwi, DSP K Prasad and many others were present.
