PASWA demands mandatory Govt schooling for children of Govt teachers

Published on:

Private School and Children Welfare Association, (PASWA) has demanded from the Chief Minister that the State Government should bring an ordinance, in which it will be mandatory for Government teachers to teach their children in Government schools and it should also be ensured in the service conditions of teachers that they send their children in the Government school only, as well as the school in which the teacher is posted, their children should study in the same school, the teachers who do not do this, they should be immediately sacked.

If the teachers themselves will teach their children in Government schools, then the common masses will also

enroll their children in Government schools.

State President of PASWA Alok Kumar Dubey said a flying squad has been prepared on behalf of PASWA by connecting the parents through district heads and block presidents.

Also, in this era of communication and information technology, the officers of the organisation will go to Government schools and release videos from there.

It has become a bitter reality today that private schools teach children, while fake work is being done in Government schools. Cokking of mid-day meals, teachers are posted at the same place for 20 years and don’t even go to school. Many principals and education officials also have their own private schools, the list of which will be released soon. Each teacher’s salary is in thousands and lakhs.

State Vice-President of PASWA Lal Kishore Nath Shahdev said the High Court in the neighbouring State of Bihar has sought information from the Government that how many children of senior officials and Government employees study in Government schools.

In Jharkhand too, information will be sought by filing public interest litigation on behalf of PASWA.

He said those who are making rhetoric against private schools should get their children admitted in government schools, otherwise they have no moral right to speak against private schools.

State General Secretary of PASWA, Dr Rajesh Gupta Chhotu said that the Chief Minister is requested that billions of rupees are spent on Government schools that they are public’s tax money, but what is the condition of Government schools in the State, the Government should seriously consider it. During the entire corona period for 17 months, Government teachers took salary and did not even teach pigeons, today when the truth is being talked about, they are shaking.

PASWA also requests the people to keep an eye on Government schools and find out how many children come to school, study and what is the condition of mid-day meal.

On behalf of the organisation, it is also demanded from the CM the properties of those teachers should also be investigated, who do less teaching and more leadership. PASWA also salutes those teachers teaching in government schools, who, despite all the irregularities and corruption, have kept themselves separate from the system and are busy in shaping the future of the children with their personal efforts.
