Pentecostal Assembly School Bokaro achieved a major milestone as its Principal, Dr.Karuna Prasad who was awarded the SOF BEST INTERNATIONAL PRINCIPAL AWARD 2022-23 on 28th May, 2023. The Academic Council of Science Olympiad Foundation has bestowed this prestigious award upon her for her leadership qualities, her visionary initiatives for the cause of education, and the academic excellence of students of The Pentecostal Assembly School.
The Felicitation ceremony was held at Dr. Ambedkar International Centre in New Delhi and was attended by noted educationists of our country. Dr. Prasad received a cash prize, a citation and a trophy at this spectacular event. Founder Director, Rev. Dr. D.N Prasad, Chief Academic Officer, Rita Prasad and Administrative Officer, Daniel Michael Prasad, congratulated Dr. Karuna Prasad for her commitment to nurture excellence in students.
Dr.Karuna Prasad has almost two decades of teaching and administration experience in the field of education. She is extremely well read with multiple research degrees to her credit which include an M.Phil and Ph,d from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. Dr.Karuna Prasad is herself a gold medalist and has been a topper throughout her academic career. She takes a keen interest in nurturing academic excellence and creativity among the students. Under her pedagogical leadership, the students of PAS bagged 558 Gold medals in various International Olympiads organised by SOF in 2022-23. The performance is all the more noteworthy as more than 70,000 schools from over 1400 cities spread across 70 countries registered for the seven Olympiads and lakhs of students appeared in the world’s biggest olympiad exam conducted by SOF this year.
