Parties say Cong, JMM responsible for anarchy

Amidst Congress’ untiring efforts for formation of an alternative Government in the State, the BJP, JVM and the AJSU parties have reacted sharply and accused the UPA of playing low-level politics in the State.

The parties said that efforts to make any alternative Government in the State would be considered as death of democratic values in the State.

The parties stick to their demand of dissolving Jharkhand Assembly while Congress and Jharkhand Mukti Morcha once again have started finding avenues to form an alternative Government in the State.

According to recent reports, Congress and JMM have arrived on an agreement on Government formation in the State.

“Sticking on our prior stand, we are in a favour of going to the polls and will never join any alliance in the formation of Government, no matter who takes the initiative. The message has already been conveyed to the Governor in January,” said JVM spokesperson Deo Sharan Bhagat.

BJP however, believes that the Congress and JMM have come to some tacit agreement of lingering the President Rule in the State.

“Both Congress and JMM are responsible for the situation of anarchy created in the State. They seem to have come under some tacit agreement of lingering President Rule in the State otherwise Government would had been formed five months back when the then CM Arjun Munda had pulled out of the government requesting him to dissolve the assembly,” said BJP spokesperson Pradeep Sinha.

The recent practice is being done to attract alliance partners so that magic number could be reached in the Assembly, added Sinha.

Meanwhile, leaders of Jharkhand Vikas Morcha are raising their voices against the recent efforts made by the Congress and JMM to form and alternative Government in the State.

A JVM delegation on Tuesday, met the President requesting to intervene as Assembly could be dissolved as efforts of government formation could only lead to horse trading in the State.
