The ardent fan of the Bollywood actress Madhuri Dixit's Pappu Sardar is all set to celebrate his idol's birthday in a special way on May 15.
Concern over the rising water crisis in the city, Pappu has devotedly taken on the onus of raising awareness on issues of water conservation. He said that during the two-day celebrations starting from May 14 he will distribute earthen pots filled with water to educate people to conserve water.
like previous years this year too, he will distribute ‘chaat’, ice creams and soft drinks free of cost to the people who will cross through his shop. “I have made arrangements for ‘puja’, which would be performed at the midnight on the eve of her birthday. At 12 midnight we will cut cake start the celebrations,” conceded Pappu.
like every year, Pappu would spend the day among the inmates of the Cheshire Home, who are special invitees on this occasion. He would distribute fruits and gifts to the inmates.
When questioned reason behind his madness for Madhuri, he says, “I draw inspiration from Madhuri. She is more than God to me I would like my family to continue this tradition of celebrating her birthday even after my death”.
