The State Empowered Committee headed by Development Commissioner-cum-Additional Chief Secretary Planning-cum-Finance Department Amit Khare on Thursday recommended 18 schemes worth Rs 1,109.2 crore for approval by Chief Minister.
The schemes include sanctioning Rs 200 crore for "Mukhyamantri Syasthya Beema Yojna" after approval on the provisions of the scheme.
Administrative approval to Rs 6.68 crore for 30-bedded Community Health Centre at Itkhori in Chatra district and Rs 1.37 crore for "Ujjwala" scheme aimed at curbing women's trafficking, victims' rehabilitation and security etc. were also recommended by the panel.
Also recommendations were made for construction of roads and bridges in Hazribagh, Koderma, Godda, Ramgarh, Deoghar, Gumla, Sahebganj, Ranchi, West Singhbhum, Dumka, Bokaro, and East Singhbhum were made by the committee.
