The State of Palestine on Monday expressed its gratitude towards Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel for the hospitality extended to the Palestinian team at the National Tribal Dance Festival.
In a letter to Baghel, Palestine Ambassador M.A. Abualhayjaa said: "We greatly appreciated and were overjoyed by the facilities provided to our counselors and the Palestine band between October 28 and 30."
"We noticed from day one that hospitality and facilities were being provided at the highest level," an official statement quoed the Ambassador as saying.
"We thank you for taking care of our needs. We also thank you for the special attention paid to our Palestinian bands. We appreciate the cooperation and support received from Chhattisgarh."
The event drew dance troupes from Nigeria, Uzbekistan, Sri Lanka, Uganda, Switzerland, the Maldives, Palestine and Syria.
