Palamu police busted illicit liquor factory which manufactured liquor in pouches and was causing huge loss of revenue to the excise department. It was one and a half km away from the Naxals' citadel.
The DSP Hussainabad Nasrullah Khan confirmed the busting of this illicit liquor factory at village Tantee and said the naxals' hot bed Singhna is one and a half kilometer away from this village Tantee but the operation busting went off peacefully and sans any resistance.He also said since the factory was in a remote area and close to the citadel of the naxals the excise officials were finding it difficult to launch the drive. So police and excise officials jointly busted the illicit liquor factory.A criminal case has been registered.
