The lone BSP MlA Kushwaha Sheopujan Mehta in Jharkhand Palamu's Hussainabad Assembly constituency faces an FIR against him. The FIR was lodged this Friday June 26 by a rozgar sewak Shambhu Tiwary with the Hussainabad police station. The OC Hussainabad police station Santosh Gupta has confirmed the FIR against the BSP MlA Mehta and two others namely laldhan Thakur and Jitender Paswan.
According to police officer Gupta the FIR revolves round the snatching of the record of a MGNREG scheme. The police officer said laldhan Thakur and Jitender Paswan are accused of possessing this official record of the MGNREG scheme which was snatched from the rozgar sewak Tiwary by Thakur and then Thakur handed it down to Paswan who then gave it to the MlA Mehta.The police officer further quoting the FIR said the rozgar sewak has written in the FIR that the MlA per force got the record Xeroxed. He also wrote that the MlA forced him to write down that the payment was done under pressure from Hussainabad BDO and MGNREG scheme Mate. What the police officer told The Pioneer was also corroborated by the BDO Hussainabad Md Aslam.
The Hussainabad BSP MlA Kushwaha Mehta has rubbished this complaint of the rozgar sewak saying ' Yeh sab kesa keysi ka syndicate hai aur iska sardar Hussainabad ka SDO hai'. The MlA further continued saying 'The present SDO Hussainabad was once the land acquisition officer in Dhanabad. There he plunged in a multi crore scam. I had been to Dhanbad where I asked the DC Dhanbad K N Jha to lodge the FIR against then land acquisition officer Dhanbad ( now SDO Hussainabad) and subsequently the FIR was lodged against this man here'.
