People of Palamu are anxiously looking forward to CM Raghubar Das whether he picks a BJP MlA from Palamu division for Ministerial berth in the next Cabinet expansion or not.
The Palamu division has four BJP MlAs. One from latehar district, two in Palamu and one in Garhwa district. Sources said that BJP MlA Radha Krishan Kishore stands a fair chance as he is a five term MlA. In Jharkhand Kishore had held a Minister’s portfolio also for a brief period of time. Another BJP MlA is Ramchander Chandravanshi, who is a three term MlA and comes from the backward community.
Manika BJP MlA Hareykrishan is a two term BJP MlA, while Satyender Tiwary of Garhwa BJP MlA is of the same rank as that of the Manika MlA that is becoming MlA second term in the row. Both won in 2009 and then this time retained their seat as well. The momemnt seem to be more in favour of Kishore as this man has one member of the family VD Ram as BJP MP Palamu. Palamu needs one BJP MlA to be the minister as the region despite being rich in mines and minerals is underdeveloped.
