The Alvida Jumma of the Ramadan month is on April 21 wherein the faithful of all ages,men only, try to offer this namaz in the mosques following which the mosques spill over and faithful do offer namaz on the streets adjacent to the mosques.
This namaz including Khutba is of maximum 20 minutes but the faithful start coming to the mosques well one hour before the start of the Khutba which is a sermon. Parking of bikes and vehicles before the mosque gets all time high.
Palamu civil and police administration are well aware of the delicacy to this day when girls and women on this day make their final purchase for the Eid.
DC Palamu Anjaneyulu Dodde oday said "The administration is always alert. I am here to see. People know how the administration acts tough."
SP Palamu Chandan Kumar Sinha on being contacted said observance of rules always brings in order and so every faithful is expected to abide by the rules.
The SP said Palamu police have drawn its own peace plan for the day describing Palamu district as 'fine'.

Further there has been a massive political activity here in Panki where the BJP brought in its top leaders like Babulal Marandi and Raghubar Das who met people of just one community whose members have either gone to jail or are named accused of the communal convulsion in the FIR avoiding completely the other community which suffered heavy economic losses like burning of houses, bikes, cars and destruction of livelihood etc.
Sources said the BJP leaders had one chorus - the police have acted in a partisan way which the Palamu police refuted strongly saying all actions are based on concrete evidence to the involvement in the communal riot there and police have not been any discriminatory.
Senior citizens of both the communities agree to this apprehension that this 2023 which is a forerunner to the election year 2024 when Jharkhand will see two hustings one the lok sabha and the other vidhan sabha, communal ferment will be around and hence saner elements of both the communities have a moral responsibility to thumb down 'communal rogues' in their respective community.
