Pahalgam incident | Terrorists will not be spared in Modi govt, claims Marandi

Published on:

BJP State president and Leader of Opposition Babulal Marandi today paid tribute to the people killed in the terrorist incident in Pahalgam and expressed condolences to the families and said that Jharkhand BJP stands with them in this hour of grief.

Marandi said that this is the first terrorist incident in which terrorists have killed innocent and unarmed people by asking their religion, removing their clothes and forcing them to recite Kalma.

He said that such terrorists will not be spared in the Modi government. Expressing concern, he said that people with such mentality are present in Jharkhand today. The ministers in the Jharkhand government believe that Sharia is above the Constitution. Marandi said that a minister in Hemant Soren Cabinet had said that Muslims are not in the grave, they are being patient. If they come out on the streets, there will be carnage, people who speak such language are sitting on the chair of power. He said that they do not have weapons, so they are attacking with statements. But there is no difference in mentality.

He said that if the battle of issues has to be fought, then there are many ways in democracy but the language of violence is not acceptable in democracy. Said that such a mentality which considers Sharia above the Constitution should be immediately dismissed from the cabinet.

Spokesperson Ramakant Mahato, Vijay Chaurasia, Misfika Hasan and Yogendra Pratap Singh were also present in the press conference.

Meanwhile, the brutal killing of 26 tourists and two local citizens in the painful terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir has shaken the whole country. In protest against this heinous incident, Bharatiya Janata Party, Barfani Group, Rashtriya Yuva Shakti and many social organizations held a strong protest in Ranchi on Wednesday. Also, a torch procession was taken out in protest.

This torch procession, which started from Jaipal Singh Munda Stadium, ended at Albert Ekka Chowk via Kachhari Chowk. The protesters had burning torches in their hands and slogans were resonating against the traitors. Anger and resentment were clearly visible in the entire atmosphere.

During the protest, BJP leaders strongly condemned the terrorist attack and demanded decisive and strict action against terrorism from the central government.

Many senior BJP leaders including former Chief Minister Babulal Marandi, Hatia MLA Naveen Jaiswal and State Minister Sanjay Seth participated in this protest program. The leaders said that this attack is not only on innocent citizens but also on the soul of India and the country will not tolerate such incidents under any circumstances.

The activists said that now the time has come to fight a decisive battle against the terrorist forces present inside and outside the country. They also said that the killing of innocent tourists in Jammu and Kashmir has enraged and united the entire country.
