The blood donation camp organised at Excel Plant of RSB witnessed an overwhelming response. A total of 501 units of blood were collected in the camp. On the occasion, Deputy Commissioner of Seraikela District Arwa Rajkamal, ADC Subodh Kumar, CO Manoj Kumar and other dignitaries comprising vice chairman and managing director of the company SK Behera, Nalini Behera, Sangeeta Behera, Plant Head officers and employees of the company including Vishwajit Jena and HR Head Jaya Singh were present.
While the people associated with the Blood Bank expressed happiness over the success of the camp and widespread blood donation, Arva Rajkamal met all the blood donors and got to know their spirit and also encouraged them for this noble cause. He said that the passion of the management, officers and employees of RSB towards blood donation and other social work is indeed inspiring.
Appreciating the work being done by the company, he expressed hope that the company would take positive steps in the development of the state in future also. SK Behera also praised the spirit of the employees on the occasion and thanked the district administration for their positive cooperation.

Since its inception, it has been playing an important role in conducting blood donation programmes and increasing awareness about it. Blood donation camps are organised at regular intervals in all the plants of RSB. Blood donation programs were organised regularly even during the Corona period.
