Overwhelmed with people’s support: Hemant

Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM), on Friday showed confidence on the backdrop of witnessing a large numbers of people in ‘Sanghrsh Yatra’ and the party stated that so far a large number of people have shown their support to the party. JMM executive president Hemant Soren said on Friday that it proves that the people of the State have joined the struggle with their ambition and dreams, so it is impossible to stop it now.

Hitting hard on the State government, JMM Executive President, Hemant Soren said that the government has plundered the mineral deposits of Jharkhand and sold it in less prices, making the people suffer from the drought of darkness, pollution and malnutrition. “This Government has left no stone unturned in pushing back every section of the State. Exploitation, loot and repression are prevailing everywhere in the State,” he added.

Terming BJP a party of false promises, Soren said, “What happen with the false promise made by the Prime Minister and followed by the Chief Minister about Smart Cities and Digital Villages? Is any BJP leader ready to speak with responsibility on this serious issue today? Coalfield is the area that provides light to entire nation is facing darkness at present. Will the Raghubar government not come to demand votes in the event of its failure to provide 24-hour electricity? Or was it just an election stunt like the others?”

Speaking on the issue of poor law and order situation of the State, Soren said at present, the law and order system in Jharkhand can be judged by the fact that in front of the Chief Minister’s residence, where the police station is already present, there is a large number of police forces stationed every day, even though during the broad daylight in the day criminal pumps bullet to common man and the administration couldn’t do for the common man. “What happened in the case of Para teachers, many of them died, their families are forced to live in poor conditions? There is no humanity in the government,” he added.

Commenting on the condition faced by the staff of the State government, Soren said, “Today the police personnel are protesting wearing black ribbons in hand. Every employee of the State government is on the streets. On one hand this government has stopped the poor children to go school and on the other hand opened the contracts of liquor despite the opposition in the peace loving areas.

Only loot, corruption and scandal are prevailing in the State,” he added.
