The Opposition parties on Sunday celebrated the much needed win they were longing for after Kolebira bypoll results were declared. Not only Congress party but also the JMM, JVM, RJD and left parties stated that the win was emphatic to show that the people were not happy with the ruling Government policies.
Expressing happiness over the result and greeting people of Kolebira Jharkhand Pradesh Congress Committee president Ajoy Kumar said that the result is against the BJP’s misrule and anti public policies. People of Kolebira have given a message to the entire State said. He thanked especially the Congress party cadres and office bearers and said, “It is result of the organisation’s well planed efforts and hard work. The by election results will structure the future political shape and direction.”
Congress Legislature Party Leader Alam Gir Alam said that people of Kolebira deserve congratulation as they have shown faith on the party. Once again the people have denied the BJP. People’s resentment is clearly visible in the election, he added. Alam said that the BJP has lost people’s faith and only the Congress ideology can develop the State.
Leader of Opposition, Hemant Soren said on the result of Kolebira bye elections that it is defeat of the ruling BJP due to misrule. He extended his greeting to the Congress and demanded that the national party should give shape to the grand alliance to prevent division of votes against BJP.
While expressing happiness over Kolebira by election results Jharkhand Vikas Morcha (JVM) Supremo Babulal Marandi said, “This victory is the victory of the Congress-JVM coalition and the meaning of the victory is also very important.
This mandate of the people of Kolbeira is enough to tell the people’s mood for the 2019 elections. The result of the election will not only affect the State’s politics but it also will affect Center’s politics. This defeat is the failures and misrule of the BJP Government in the Center and in the State. The people have shown mirror to the arrogance and gossiping of the BJP Government. The people of Jharkhand have been completely upset with the BJP government. The people of Jharkhand now want to get rid of the BJP. The countdown of the State Government has started from now.”
Meanwhile, greeting Congress leaders on the Kolebira by election victory the BJP Jharkhand Spokesperson Pratul Shahdeo said that the religious leader, who has worked as Congress cadre in the field, is the main hero of the victory of the Congress.
Shahdeo further added, “Kolebira has always been a challenge for the BJP because of 57 per cent of total votes is minorities and till now the BJP has not won the seat. The BJP has been managed to maintain its votes but the Congress has got vote due to religious polarisation and this is matter of criticism. Religious conversion has openly supported the Congress and it shows that it has been taking support of anti tribal and anti-local people.”
He added, “At present the Congress leaders have completely denied Hemant Soren as leader of coalition, whereas Ajoy Kumar had accepted publically Hemant Soren as leader. This is the character of Congress.”
