Opp alleges misuse of fund by Govt in RSS programme

Raising objections over the ongoing programme of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) at Sarla Birla School in Ranchi, the opposition parties including Congress and JMM have alleged that senior leaders of the Sangh have come here to set the frequency between the RSS and Jharkhand Govt.

According the JPCC spokesperson Rajesh Thakur, Jharkhand Government will now be guided by remote control of RSS to propagate and the agenda of RSS.

Thakur also alleged that misuse of Government funds is being made for the programme for which, the Government has been making preparations for the last three months. Where there is a dearth of basic facilities in the Government schools, several lakhs were spent to stretch the road up to the private school, he said.

“To make this programme a success, directly or indirectly the government machineries right from the politicians to the officials were involved in it,” stated Thakur.

According to Thakur, the way RSS Chief has tried to destroy the social harmony in the country by giving a statement over reservation policy, it seems Jharkhand Government, by giving permission for holding the prgramme in the state has proved that it is also in support of abolishing reservation in the State. It is also giving a chance to the non-secular forces to spread its tentacles.

Thakur further added that the way the State was going through a phase of communal disharmony, such programmes must be avoided here.

Meanwhile, Jharkhand Mukti Morcha through a press release also alleged that the State Government in Jharkhand has been spending unlimited money of the State exchequer.

The JMM also stated that the party condemns the use of government funds for the programme of RSS. The party also demanded that the state government should make the extravagant expenditure of government funds public and given an explanation regarding the purpose behind it.
