Opp’s cheap politics on Pulwama attack shameful: BJP

The Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) on Monday said Opposition parties are doing unfair politics at a time when the whole nation is saddened by the martyrdom of the CRPF soldiers in Pulwama in Jammu & Kashmir.

Addressing a Press meet State BJP Spokesperson, Pratul Shahdeo said the Prime Minister and the Home Minister have said many times that they will take revenge for every martyr. “The Army has been given full freedom to decide the spot and the place then take action. The Foreign Minister is creating an atmosphere against terrorism all over the world. In such a situation, the leaders of the Opposition are making unrestrained comments about the Prime Minister, which is not good,” he said.

Reminding the Opposition parties of their duties, Shahdeo said that there is a lot of time to do politics but when issue is the unity and the sovereignty of the country, then the whole country should speak in one voice.

Expressing deep objection to the adverse remarks made by the Congress spokesman, Shahdeo said that at this time the entire nation should stand together with the Prime Minister. “The leaders of the Congress who make the comment forget that on September 15, 2008, when the bomb blasts took place in Delhi, then Home Minister Shivraj Patil had changed his shirts three times in order to visit the spot and the hospital on the other hand Home Minister is giving shoulder to bier of martyr shoulder” he added.

Hitting hard on former Chief Minister Babulal Marandi’s statement, in which he said that if the BJP Government will come in power again then it will force people for begging, Shahdeo said that it is low level statement.

“After the next election, people who have been doing politics in the name of tribal and indigenous people will definitely be seen on the roads with begging bowls because the Raghubar Das led State government and the Central government have done unprecedented development work for the tribal and indigenous people. Roads have been made, gas connections have been given, irrigation project has started, electricity is getting, employment and self-employment are getting,” he added.

Reacting strogly against JMM executive president Hemant Soren’s statement in which he has said that Chief Minister Raghubar

Das touches Dishom Guru’s feet in the morning and abuses him in the evening, Shahdeo said that Hemant Soren also knows very well that Raghubar Das pays respect to Guru ji and added that political rivalry is in its place and personal relationships are different.

Recalling old day Shahdeo said, “How much Hemant Soren respects his father is clear from the fact that when Guru Ji wanted the seat of MLA to remain the Chief Minister, Hemant had refused to leave his own seat.

When Poulush Soren had offered his seat at the time then Hemant also by understanding him returned his resignation.  Hemant has been sitting in the lap of Congress for getting power forgetting the fact that the party had played a key role in defeating Shibu Soren in Tamar.”

Shahdeo appealed to the Opposition parties that they should understand that the interest of the country is paramount and politics can wait but the country’s interest can’t wait for anything.
