In order to speed up the work of Covid vaccination, a State level meeting was held on Saturday under the chairmanship of Dr. Bhuvnesh Pratap Singh, Campaign Director, National Health Mission, with the entire districts’ Covid Vaccination Nodal Officers. Covid Vaccination District Nodal Officers of all districts and representatives of WHO, JSL, UNICEF and UNDP participated in this meeting as participants. Dr. Rakesh Dayal State Nodal Officer Covid Vaccination apprised the participants about the updated progress along with technical information regarding the program.
Dr. Bhuvnesh Pratap Singh said that the COVID is not over yet, so all the citizens of their districts who are above 18 years of age, were given information regarding the second dose and precaution of Covid to the remaining or missing persons. It is mandatory to give Covid vaccination to the children of 12-14 years and 15-17 years. In each situation, the first dose and second dose were instructed to work according to the target at the same time.
District wise daily targets have been given for each district. According to the target, work has been directed to prepare an action plan in a timely manner and action will be taken against the employees and officials who are lax in the work. He directed to open Covid Vaccination Centers in all the Puja pandals of the state. Opening of Covid Vaccination Centers in all Health and Wellness Centers and administering the second dose and precaution dose of Covid Vaccination as per the target on time.
Dr. Bhuvnesh Pratap Singh appealed to all the people of Jharkhand and said that Covid vaccination is completely safe. He also appealed to all the beneficiaries to get their vaccination done on time.
