A para-teacher sitting on agitation in front of the Social Welfare, Women and Child Development Minister, Louis Marandi’s residence at Dumka has died on Sunday.
Opposition parties have reacted sharply over the issue. Jharkhand Vikas Morcha (JVM) spokesperson Yogendra Pratap Singh said, “
It is very sad that earlier a female para teacher had died and now another passed away near the Minister’s residence.
Somehow directly and indirectly the BJP led State government is responsible for it,” he added. Singh further said that the Government should give Rs 20 lakh as compensation to the victim family.
While expressing sorrow on the death of para teacher the State Congress Spokesperson Rajesh Thakur said, the State government has crossed the limit of insensitivity. It exhibited the wrong work style of the government, he added.
Thakur further said that the government should take moral responsibility of the death of the para teacher and give Rs 25 lakh as compensation to their kith and kin.
