An auto driver died after being hit by a trailer on Sunday morning near 10 Mile of Tupudana OP area of the district. The auto driver has been identified as Jameel Chand.
After the death of Chand, the local people blocked the road. Uproar continues on the road regarding compensation. Due to the uproar on the road, a long queue of vehicles formed on the Ranchi-Khunti highway. When the police team reached the spot to convince the villagers, the villagers also got entangled with the police. During this, the villagers also clashed with the police. The local people are adamant on the road demanding compensation.
Chand, a resident of Siladon village of Tupudana, was an auto driver. Like every day, on Sunday morning too, he had left the house with his auto. Meanwhile, near 10 Mile Chowk of Tupudana, a trailer coming from the opposite direction hit Chand's auto. The collision was so strong that the auto fell on the other side of the road while the auto driver got trapped in the wheels of the trailer. Chand died after getting trapped in the wheels of the trailer. At the same time, seeing the accident, the local people started running the trailer driver. After which he fled leaving the trailer on the middle of the road.
