Palamau police have nabbed one Sonu Khan of Pahari mohalla in connection with the recovery of a crude bomb that was found on January 15. Khan was remanded in judicial custody on Friday.
Giving this statement, the DSP Prabhat Ranjan Barwar said that Khan has been booked under the Explosives Act and Arms Act. The police have recovered one desi katta from his possession with two live bullets. Khan has reportedly taken names of six others including Taj Qurreshi, Pappu Khan, Sonu Khan (other Sonu) Munna Taripar, Amjad Khan and Pheku Khan during interrogation. All these six are at large said the DSP and are residents of Pahari Mohalla and Karbala Chowk. The DSP said that these accused must have sinister designs with them.
