A die-hard fan of Bollywood actress Madhuri Dixit Nene, Pappu Sardar will celebrate his idol’s birthday in a special way. like previous years this year he will not cut the ceremonial cake but will spread the message of saving girl child.
Taking a cue from Prime Minister’s call for Saving Girl Child he will spread the message against the female foeticide. Concerned over the rising cases of female feticide, Pappu has devotedly taken on the onus of raising awareness on issues of Save Girl Child.
He informed that a calendar starting from May 15 dedicated to Madhuri has been especially design with a message of Narendra Modi’s message of saving girl child.
like every year, Pappu would spend also the day among the inmates of the Cheshire Home and Old Age Home, who are special invitees on this occasion. He would distribute fruits and gifts to the inmates.
Pappu has been celebrating Dixit’s birthday since 1996. like thousands of others, Pappu Sardar idolises Bollywood actor Madhuri Dixit. But he is a unique member of her fan club in that he has taken it upon himself to reach out to those in need while dedicating the service to her.
He said that during the two-day celebrations starting from May 14 he will also distribute earthen pots filled with water to educate people to conserve water. However like previous years, he will not distribute ‘chaat’, or cut cake. His mother expired recently and he has resolved to celebrate the occasion in sober way spreading social message.
“I have made arrangements for ‘puja’, which would be performed on May 14. The puja is being organised to pray for long life of Madhuri,” conceded Pappu.
