Sector magistrates of Khijri including Kanke conducted a meeting with the Booth Level Officials (BLOs) of the respective constituencies here on Wednesday. The officials instructed the BLOs to conduct ‘Chunav Paatshala’, creating awareness through SVEEP programme, ensuring completion of all necessary rectification work on time, conducting special drive at a regular interval.
The BLOs were also ordered to create awareness about the modern tools like C-Vigil mobile application, the app which enables the public to register complaints of Model Code of Conduct (MCC) violations. Also, the BLOs were told to popularise 1950 among the public.
The BLOs were given additional inputs such as online rectification of electoral role can be done till April 9. All BLOs during the training session got a detailed input about different voter documents.
Meanwhile, all polling parties were given training about VVPAT, ballot papers and other documents at JVM Shyamali School. The polling parties were made aware about the guidelines of Election Commission of India (ECI). As many as 472 officials were present during the training session.
