DDC, Ranchi, Shashi Ranjan on Monday during a review meeting asked the Department heads to ensure arrangements as per the instructions on or before January 18 for Republic Day.
During the meeting, Ranjan instructed the officials of Department of Road Construction to fill up the pot holes at Morhabadi Ground so that the parade rehearsal can be initiated from January 18 as per the schedule.
He further added that the work of gallery arrangements ensuring setting up special gallery for guests, media, decorating the main podium must be done by the Department of Building Construction officials accordingly.
As per the plan, the parade rehearsal will initiate from January 18 and will continue till January 23 from 10 AM to 1 PM. The final parade rehearsal will be carried on January 24 from 9 AM onwards.
Similarly, the engineers of Department of Water and Sanitation have been told to make arrangement for drinking water on the ground for the people who will regularly come for rehearsal.
