linga Reddy, a manager of Shirdi Sai Construction Company, based in Andhra Pradesh, had been abducted by unidentified miscreants on Friday night from the Base Resham railway construction site, police said.
The owner of construction company Sriniwas Reddy informed the district police officials about this abduction. The Shirdi Sai Construction Company has taken the contract of construction work of railway track here at Hazaribagh. Initially, they had given this work on petty contract to Ms Hindustan Steel but after repeated complaints the company was now doing the work with the help of his own staffs and equipment.
Hazaribagh police has started investigation of this abduction case. Though, the police officials kept mum on the progress of this case, sources informed that a four-wheeler, Bolero, of Construction Company has been recovered from the forests of Simariya, Chatra district. Earlier, the police had suspected that contract rivalry might have led into the incident of abducting but recovery of the Bolero from the forests of Simariya has added the angle of involvement of Naxal ultras who abducted people for levy. Now Hazaribagh and Chatra police are jointly investigating this case and the police sources hinted that very soon good news will be coming up.
