Following the instruction of Kodarma DC Chhaviranjan, apparently to verify and establish the fact of a Government doctor’s indulgences into private practice, Executive Magistrate Kamalendra Kumar Sinha and BDO Kodarma Prabhash Kumar Dutta raided on the clinic of Dr Ajay on Wednesday.
Reportedly Dr. Ajay Kumar met DC two days ago and briefed about the problems and plights of medical professionals in general including himself. As it is brought in knowledge of DC about the private practice of government doctors in the district, the DC took no time and showed utmost promptness in making an immediate raid on the premises of the doctor.
BDO Prabhash Kumar Dutta after observing raid said, “The doctor found practicing at his private clinic in duty hours at Jhumaritelaiya while he was posted at PHC Markachcho at a distance of about 55 kilometers from here.” Dr. Ajay is Incharge of the said Primary Health Centre and absence from his duties makes the matter more serious and I submitted the report to DC.
