Oriental Bank of Commerce opened its updated branch at Ranchi University on Friday. The inaugural ceremony of the updated branch was attended by RU Vice-Chancellor Ramesh Kumar Pandey, bank General Manager Charanjeet Singh and Regional Chairperson of Ranchi, Madan Chandra.
On this occasion, a recovery-cum-CASA deposit mobilisation camp was organised within RU premises. During this camp, people were told about the welfare schemes conducted by Central Government through banks, especially Atal Pension scheme, Sukanya Samridhi scheme and National Pension scheme.
Many accounts under the Atal Pension scheme were opened on this occasion.
