The NTPC’s Coal Mine Projects has agreed to build 441 toilets in the schools in Hazaribagh district. The headquarters have allotted `6.36 crore for the purpose. This information was given by PRO Gulshan Toppo.
The NTPC officials first visited the schools where they have to build toilets under Swacch Bharat Abhiyan. After visiting the sites they submitted a report and on the basis of this report the above amount has been sanctioned. The district administration has allotted NTPC Coal Mining Project all schools of Barkagaon and Keredari blocks and some schools of other blocks.
Toppo informed that by 31st of March they will complete the construction work of all toilets in 441 schools. They are also going to provide drinking water facility in those schools whose officials are found unavailable during their site visits.
