The NTPC Keredari Coal Mining project distributed play materials between the students of rural schools of Keredari block in a ceremony organised at block headquarter. On this occasion the district board member from Keredari Sharda Rishi, Mukhiya Basanti Devi and Sahiya Sarita was also present.
Sharda Rishi in her address expressed pleasure on this step of NTPC management and hoped that NTPC will always help the rural people for their overall development. Basanti Devi said that play is an important part of life because it helps in both physical and mental development.
Sarita in her address thanked the NTPC officers for providing playing materials to the students of village schools. She said that in the rural areas there are talented players but due to shortage of support and playing materials they fail to earn fame. On this occasion the officers of
NTPC were also present and they hoped that now the rural youths will do better in the field of sports.
