On the occasion of the 39th establishment year of the NTPC a special programme was organised by its coal mining project wing Barkagaon-Keredari in which Executive Director Ravindra Singh Rathi felicitated the officers and staff who had completed 15 to 25 years of service in the organization.
Addressing the gathering Rathi said that it is due to yours labor and ability that in 39 years NTPC has become the biggest power generating company of Asia. Today NTPC produces more than 34,000 MW units of electricity which is about 1/3rd of the total production of our country, he added.
On this occasion Executive Director felicitated senior officers Ramesh Chandra Devnath, Suresh Prasad, Subol Roy and Ashok Kumar Wardahe for serving the organization since last 25 years and Rakesh Nandan Sahay for his 15 years service. He presented gold and silver coins and certificates of extra ordinary service to every officer and staff who had completed 25 and 15 years of service respectively.
A cultural program was also organized on this occasion in which the students of Navodaya Vidyalaya won the hearts by presenting Nagpuri and Assamese Bihu song and dance. light music artists from Ranchi and other places also entertained the gathering by presenting ghajals and other songs.
