In a programme organised at NTPC-run ITI, Barkagaon, GM NTPC Ravindra Singh Rathi distributed papers of annual cash benefit as per the directions of RR Policy of the state to 84 displaced land owners of Dhenga village of Barkagaon panchayat.
Speaking on this occasion Rathi said that those who had given one acre or more land to NTPC will get Rs. 3000 per month and those having given less than one acre land Rs. 2500 per month for next 30 years. He informed that for this NTPC has joined hand with lIC who will make the payments.
Mukhiya leelawati Devi, guest of honour of this programme, praised the NTPC administration for taking quick action to give relief to the displaced. She also thanked the officials for their regular community development activities and providing training to the youth and women of the area to become self-dependent.
