NN Mishra, director, NTPC, visited the mining site of Pakri Barwadih coal mine project and then reviewed the progress at Barkagaon site office in which acting director Arja Srikant and GM PK Upadhyay were also present.
Mishra went to Chirudih village and took a close look of the area from where the mining work of NTPC is going to start.
He also discussed about the 14 kms long conveyor belt installation work on which the coal will be transported from the mining sites of Keredari and Barkagaon to the loading site near Banadag railway station of Katkamdag block. From here the mined coal will be sent to different units of NTPC for electricity production through railway wagons.
