Sources said the team inspected nearly a dozen schemes done here besides interacting with eco development committees. The NTCA team probed schemes in buffer and core area both. The field director of the Tiger Reserve SEH Kazmi and buffer DFO Anil K Mishra have confirmed the inquiry done by these two members of the NTCA on complaint lodged by Youth Against Corruption.

The outcome of the probe is not yet known but these officials looked no panicked, said sources. Notably, the NTCA team came after the Youth Against Corruption (YAC) sent a written complaint to National Tiger Conservation Authority (NTCA) Delhi alleging misappropriation of Government money in the name of upkeep of the Tiger Reserve and wildlife here.

The YAC wanted account of Government money so far spent as talk of corruption stalking tiger reserve does the round in Palamu. The NTCA taking cognizance of the complaint recently dispatched two its members. The two officials are: Vaibhav Mathur and Shiv Kumar. Kumarcame from Banglore while Mathur from Delhi.
