The non-resident Indians (NRIs) from several countries like Israel, Fiji, South Africa, Malaysia, Canada, South America, Sri-lanka, Mauritius, Trinidad and Tobago including other nations under a special programme ‘Know India Programme (KIP)’ on Friday visited Vikas Bharti, Aarogya Bhawan.
The tour programme organized under the aegis of Ministry of External Affairs, GoI covers visit to different civil societies as a prominent feature of KIP. Approximately, 40 NRIs visited the campus premises of Vikash Bharti.
Besides inquiring about the activities being carried out at Vikash Bharti centre here, the NRIs also got to know more about other projects being undertaken in different parts of Jharkhand by this NGO via videos and short films specially screened for them on the campus premises.
