Now, enjoy Edward Jennings' renditions at Hotel Boulevard

The Strangers will perform live every evening at Hotel Boulevard. Aloysious Wallwork and Edward Jennings will render English folk  and Country songs.

Ronald D’costa, proprietor, Hotel Boulevard said that Edward Jennings returns to Boulevard Hotel after 40 years. While still at loyola hostel, he used to slip away and strum in our newly launched restaurant, Monisha. Then his trio, appropriately called “The Planets” consisted of  Danny Smith (now in Australia) on the drums, Carlton Vanjour, (UK) vocals and guitar, and a female vocalist, Dola Clarke (last heard of singing in New York).

Today, Edwards  deep, soothing voice ideally suits the sad ballads he renders. Watch his sprightly fingers fly over the frets on his antique electric guitar and don’t blame us if you get mesmerised! Aloysious Wallwork leads the group and anchors the programme.

His very inviting and pleasant voice is ideal for the American Country music he renders backed by recorded music tracks. If you have any illusions/ambitions to perform , Aloysious is a very able teacher. Using his Kareoke tracks of real world instrumental backing,he will make you sing like Pat Boone or  Ella Fritzgerald! Aloysious’ “Bose sound” equipment guarantees a very relaxing and satisfying evening.
