Note-ban grounded terrorism down: Indresh Kumar

Forum for Awareness of National Security (FANS) Chief Patron and senior RSS leader Indresh Kumar has said the demonetisation step launched on November 8 last year not only stopped incidents of stone pelting in Kashmir, but also proved to be a spine-breaking punch for terrorism, both internally grown and exported from across the border.

Addressing in a programme organised on Sunday, he also said transparency in family and social life was key to nation building, which was most sought for ingredient for patriotism. FANS (Jharkhand chapter) had organised the programme on Inter-Relation between Internal Security and Discipline in Public life.

“Culture is the only difference between victory and defeat. Fight to get victory brings discipline. Fight to defeat others brings fear, envy and indiscipline. So, it is important for any society in a fight must ask itself first whether it is for a victory over something, or is it just to defeat others to accumulate more arrogance, intolerance and such evils,” said Indresh Kumar

Former Chief Minister and Chief Guest of the event Arjun Munda, FANS President (Jharkhand Chapter) Kumud Chowdhary, Executive President Pawan Bajaj, vice president Shahid Akhtar, general secretary Tapas Mallik, vice president Sandeep Kumar, Kolhan University Vice Chancellor RPP Singh, Ranchi University VC Ramesh Kumar Pandey, FANS All India Organising Committee Secretary Golak Bihari and other dignitaries were also present in the event which was presided over by FANS general secretary (Jharkhand Chapter) Amar Kumar Chowdhary.

Indresh Kumar also urged the gathering in particular and mass in general to help build nation from family level itself. He said, on the lighter note, that demonetisation also proved one thing that we as a society were suffering from severe transparency deficit between one of the relations which, on the other way, was the only example of trust and transparency.

“Even PM Narendra Modi could have never thought that it (demonetisation) would expose relations between wife and husband, and would become apple of discord between them. But we need to understand that when we don’t have transparency between our partners, how can we preach the same to our children who are the future of country,” said Kumar.

Arjun Munda said on the occasion that people had forgotten to preserve one of the richest heritages and culture of all the times on which as Indians were proud of for centuries, which resulted in a deviated society. “It is our failure that we couldn’t protect them, which is resulting in our children not being able to understand what we were having,” said Munda.

laying the foundation of discussion Prabhat Khabar Senior Editor Anuj Kumar Sinha said that parents were lone responsible for their uncivilised wards. “School growing students are turning drinkers and smokers. They ride bikes on beyond any limit speed, they bunk classes and gather courage to threaten their teachers. We will have to think what we are embracing our kids with, when we encourage female feticide, corruption in one way or the other, and don’t bother to become role model for them,” said Sinha.

On the occasion Pawan Bajaj said while opening the session that those leading public life must be alert at whatever they used to speak and do, as they were many a times role-model for millions. “But when one of them makes dignity of daughters of society as a parameter of comparison for anything, we do get upset and rightly so. People in public life must leave their footprints in a positive way which leads society to become good that results in a strong and disciplined nation,” said Bajaj.
