Police have not received any clue about the missing son of Kanke MlA Ramchandra Baitha even after one day of filing report at Kanke police station. Chandan Baitha, son of the Kanke MlA, has reportedly gone missing on July 29.
“There is no trace of the missing person. We are investigating the case,” said Kanke PS in-charge Saryu Anand. Police was informed about the missing person on Saturday evening after relatives of Chandan failed to locate him. As many as seven people including an unidentified girl and her relatives have been named for allegedly kidnapping Chandan. “We are interrogating those who have been named in the complaint,” added the Kanke PS in-charge. According to sources, Chandan and the same girl had eloped couple of months back but the boy was recovered when police exerted pressure on the girl’s family. Both, Chandan and the girl belong to the same village.
