Making an attack on Hemant Soren-led coalition government for ‘protecting’ ministers under scanner in different cases, former Chief Minister Arjun Munda on Wednesday alleged that the manner in which the law and order situation has gone out of control in the state it seems that there is no government in Jharkhand. Munda also accused the ministers in the state government of being involved in corruption.
Munda was talking to the media persons in Daltonganj after holding a meeting with the local representatives taking suggestions from them in order to prepare election manifesto for the forthcoming Assembly elections. Munda also charged the Hemant Soren government with loot of coal, iron ore and minor minerals.
“The ministers and bureaucrats together are looting the state which ultimately is tarnishing the image of the state in the Country,” Munda said. He also demanded Special Economic Zone in Palamu area in order to increase the opportunity of employment and overall development in the area.
Munda reiterated that it is only BJP which can bring development in the state. “As there had only been coalition governments in the state, no development could be done here,” said Munda. Those states where BJP has got clear majority, development could be easily seen are now termed as relatively developed states in the Country; While those states, where there is no BJP government are still counted as backward states, he added.
Senior BJP leader Saryu Roy on the other hand, said that the party was preparing people friendly election manifesto before the Assembly elections after talking to them so that the agenda of the common people could be included in it.
Representatives of local teachers meeting with Munda, also demanded that their view must also be taken before policy making. Along with Munda and Roy, Palamu MP BD Ram, Balmukund Sahay and Kamal Bhagat also attended the meeting.
