There is no display board manual or electronic here in Daltonganj to post the vote count result. The counting of votes is to be done December 23.
The district Palamu still has the rudimentary system of announcing counting results on the public address system. There are five assembly segments in Palamu. Counting of all the 5 seats are done here. The loud speakers blare out the counting of votes.
Sources said the loud speakers are adequate but announcing results of 5 assembly segments clash with each other as if it is 8 th round for Daltonganj assembly segment it is then 10th round for Hussainabad segment.
The administration has been urged to fix loud speakers in the town areas too for the convenience of the public as then the crowd that gathers on NH 75 near the counting centre will thin out considerably.
The counting centre is located on NH 75 and on the day of counting traffic on NH 75 gets difficult. A SBI branch located inside the premise of the counting venue too stops banking facility to its customers here on the counting day.
