Jammu and Kashmir Deputy Chief Minister Nirmal Singh said that the BJP will never make any compromises on national interests at any cost just because of sharing power with any party. Singh was speaking during the Mahanayak Sharda Samman Samaroh in Ranchi on Sunday.
“We will not ever compromise on national interests at any cost as we are ready to sit in the Opposition again as have been sitting there for the last 66 years,” said Singh. He, however, added that the way the two parties - BJP and PDP - have come closer to form an alliance in the State, will prove to be a turning point in the history of the country.
Singh further added that the party along with the people of Jammu and Kashmir will foil the unholy intentions and drive the State on the path of development.
Former Jharkhand Chief Minister Arjun Munda, on the other hand, said that it will be beneficial for all to see Jammu and Kashmir as an integral part of India always. Munda also added that an environment needs to be created in Jammu and Kashmir so that a solution to the current problems comes out of it.
