Former Chief Minister Arjun Munda has said that the present Government has adopted a negative attitude towards the farmers of the State.
Addressing a meeting of BJP farmers’ cell Munda said despite having less than average rain in most parts of the State, the Government did not made proper arrangement for the alternate farming due to which encouraging results in the farming of pulses and corn could not be seen.Munda terming the training programmes, encouragement and bank linkages given to the farmers merely as eyewash, said that the farmers are upset for not getting the fertilizers and seeds in time as well as the black marketing being done for selling farm products.
