The pressures to which it is subject have been astoundingly varied. The melting pot of the female Indian psyche is in a state of perfect liquidity, with multifarious socio-economic and psycho-spiritual ingredients thronging from all sides but in spite of a continuous battle against all odds, of a struggle for survival, of trials & tribulations…emerges a brand new self-image taking on the fascinating hues of freedom, of self-respect, of self-worth and most of all of self confidence”.

Further, Dr Srikanth added, “Equal opportunities must be given to women. Discrimination should not be there in the society. Change will occur when we change our mindset. One should not forget that one is the creator of one’s own destiny. Dr Srikanth also mentioned the statistics on the involvement of women in each and every Indian socio-economic sectors ranging from Education, Business, Industries, Parliament and so on.

Ruchi Narendran said, “There is no denying that women’s problems are many and there are no readymade or instantaneous solutions either. However, the achiever should extend her support in raising a  toast to her indomitable spirit that refuses to bend or break in the face of adversities, that wants to break free of  it’s shackles and put it’s best foot forward into a better , brighter & uncomplicated India, woman that is present in each one of  us. Indeed let us celebrate this day as a festival of the human spirit – of the passion and the power that lies within each one of us.
