Amidst the political slugfest following stepping down of Bihar Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi, Union Minister of State for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Giriraj Singh on Friday said that former Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar was responsible for the prevailing political situation in the State.
Addressing the media here, he said that Nitish Kumar could not resist himself from staying away from helm of power.
Singh claimed that Nitish along with RJD plotted against Manjhi Government to topple him from power.
“The situation only goes to show that Nitish is power hungry and can go to any extent to stay in the Government,” said Singh.
He also said that ever since Nitish ended ties with BJP and came to the fold of RJD leader lalu Prasad Yadav, the law and order situation has returned to the conditions which prevailed in 2005.
Sharing plans for the next Assembly polls in Bihar, the Minister said the BJP will contest election under the leadership of PM Narendra Modi and the BJP will form the next Government.
He said that the political drama of JD(U) will lead the party to defeat.
Referring to the six Jharkhand Vikas Morcha (Prajatantrik) MlAs switching over to the saffron party fold, Singh said everyone is welcome in BJP but refuted at the allegations that the party had planned any divide in JVM.
